Essentiel: The crazy bet of two Nantes residents passionate about perfumes

Essentiel is above all the story of two childhood friends linked by more than 30 years of friendship. A strong bond, born on the school benches, which has stood the test of time and which, today, gives life to a unique and exciting adventure.

When diverse paths come together

We come from different worlds, but our complementarity is our strength. One of us, a creative soul, has explored the fields of engineering and design, while the other, with an entrepreneurial spirit, has navigated the spheres of strategy and marketing. After years of enriching our respective careers, an idea germinated: what if we pooled our talents to create something that resembles us?

After a year and a half of hard work, punctuated by long hours of reflection, our project came to life. All our logistics are now based in Nantes, our city of heart, where we have chosen to anchor this project sustainably.

Essentiel is a simple answer to a complex question: how can we restore perfume to its true value, without artifice?
We wanted an authentic, accessible and responsible brand. Our perfumes are not there to impress, but to seduce with their quality and simplicity. Each creation reflects our values: authenticity, respect for the environment, and the desire to make perfume an accessible luxury, without ostentation.
